About
Most of the time in the wilderness, nothing big happens.
No shot. No big moment. Just time spent paying attention — watching how things move, how the wind shifts, where animals travel, what works and what doesn’t.
And a lot of those details are easy to forget once you’re back home.
I started carrying a small notebook to keep track of it.
Scouting notes. Weather. Setups that worked. Mistakes that didn’t.
Over time, that turned into something I relied on every trip.
The Backcountry Pocket Journal came out of that.
It’s simple on purpose — something you can keep in your pack, your truck, or your bino harness and actually use without thinking about it.
It also includes a few practical guides — knots, navigation, first aid — the kind of things that are worth having close when you need them.
Not something that stays clean. Something that gets filled.
Built to be carried. Made to be used.
